Clear the meadow. Never guess.
Each number counts the mines touching that tile, including the four diagonal neighbours. A blank tile touches none, so the tiles around it open on their own.
No. Every board is checked by a solver before you see it, starting from your first tap and using only what the numbers tell you. A board that would force a coin flip is thrown out and a new one is made. If you feel stuck, there is a safe move you have not spotted yet.
Never. The mines are placed after your first tap, away from it and away from the tiles touching it, so it always opens an area.
Switch the control under the board to Flag and tap the tile, or press and hold the tile in either mode. Flags are drawn as flowers, and a flagged tile cannot be uncovered by accident.
Once you have flagged as many tiles around a number as it shows, tapping the number uncovers the rest of its neighbours at once. If one of your flags is wrong, this can uncover a mine, just as in the classic game.
After a short video it uncovers the next tile that logic can prove safe and rings it, so you can see the step you missed. It is always optional, and every board can be finished without it.
No. Boards are built on your device. Only the ads need a connection, and the game plays fine without them.
